Deleting your account

In effect Aug 28, 2026

You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone. It takes effect immediately and it cannot be undone, so export your records first.

Before you do it: export

Your shifts, invoices and expenses are business records. The Income Tax Act requires you to keep them for six years from the end of the tax year they relate to, and deleting your account here does not lift that duty; it just removes your copy.

Take the spreadsheet exports from the year end page and the shifts page first. They open in any spreadsheet program and are what an accountant would ask you for.

How to delete it

  • Sign in and open Profile.
  • Scroll to Delete your account at the bottom.
  • Choose Delete my account, enter your password, and type DELETE to confirm.

The password is asked for again on purpose. Relief work happens on shared dispensary computers, and an unlocked browser should not be enough for someone else to erase your year.

Signed in already? Go to Profile.

What is deleted

Immediately and permanently, in one step:

  • Your sign-in credentials, sessions, and any two-factor authentication you had enrolled.
  • Your profile: name, business name, addresses, contact details, registration number, GST/HST number and all your defaults.
  • Every shift you have logged.
  • Every invoice, including the billing snapshots stored on them.
  • Every expense.
  • Every pharmacy and its contact details.
  • Your continuing education record.

Nothing is archived, quarantined or kept in a recycle bin, and there is no grace period in which support could bring it back. When it is gone it is gone.

What is not deleted

  • Invoices you already sent. A PDF that has left for a pharmacy is in their hands and their records, and nothing here can reach it.
  • Files you exported. Those are on your own computer.
  • Emails the service sent you, such as sign-in confirmations, which sit in your inbox and in the mail provider's delivery logs for a short period.
  • Aggregate, anonymous traffic counts that were never linked to you in the first place.

Signing up again

The email address is released when the account is deleted, so you can register again with it later. It will be a genuinely new account: none of the old records come back, and invoice numbering starts over.

If you cannot get in

If you have lost access to your account and cannot sign in to delete it yourself, write to hello@pharmacisthub.ca from the address the account uses. You will get an answer within 30 days at the outside, and in practice far sooner.
